Joey Clark
July 1, 2004 – October 31, 2019
Joey came into our lives when he was five months old. The people who gave him up didn’t understand how a little Russell Terrier puppy could get into so much trouble. His high energy made us laugh one minute and cry in frustration the next. He was a great escape artist. Every time we thought we had him figured out, he’d outsmart us. He was not an Elder Dog but, as a volunteer for this wonderful organization, many dogs came to our home as fosters. Joey greeted each one with a wagging tail. He shared his bed, his toys and even his place on the couch next to his people. He understood when a dog was scared and left them alone until they felt comfortable. He was a great little fellow and a wonderful part of our family. He took a piece of our hearts with him when he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.
RIP Joey.
