Angel
On February 1, we said good-bye to Angel. Though her name gave the impression that she was a perfect little girl, she could be a little devil. Typical of the Westie breed, she could be stubborn but funny and loving. She was Daddy’s little girl who could do no wrong. At times, she was bossy with her Westie brother but she loved him and protected him from any female dog who showed interest in him. Her favourite pastime was chilling with her humans and eating fruit – she loved apples! Angel will be missed by many, but none more so than her new loving family who only had her a few months before she became ill. Together, they fought the battle to the end. Angel also left behind her former mum who loved her enough to realize she needed more care and attention than she could provide. She’ll be remembered by the ElderDog volunteers who had the pleasure of knowing this feisty little girl.

Rest in peace sweet Angel. You have earned your wings.
