Rambo
Rambo was rehomed through ElderDog after his companion, Max, passed away. For years before Max became ill, he and Rambo enjoyed each other’s companionship, car rides, and long walks in the woods. They were inseparable. Then, when, due to Max’s passing, it became clear that Rambo needed a new home, it was only a matter of days before Joan heard about Rambo and threw open her door to him. Having recently lost her beloved 16-year old Husky, Joan was eager to welcome Rambo into her life and home where they lived together in loving companionship for four years until, finally, Joan had to say a tearful good-bye to 14-year old Rambo. Rambo was so fortunate to have lived his long life with companions who adored him. He will be missed by all whose heart he touched.
