Teli

Teli was a special dog. He came into the care of ElderDog in May 2022 and was fostered by Dale, Tom and their dog Diesel for over three months. He had lots of new experiences and joy when he was with them, and they were crazy about him. When he went to his new home with Violet, he had two siblings, Shelby and Princess. Shelby and Teli became best friends and, when Teli found it hard to see, Shelby was his guide. Violet adored Teli, he was her snuggle buddy and companion. Violet said this when he passed away: “I have lost a great little buddy today, Teli came to me just over 1 1/2 yrs ago from ElderDog. He was a lovable little boy from the start but don’t get me wrong, Teli was a strong-minded, very independent dog. With his eyesight failing, he managed to go out and in on his own and was not long to lead the way around the yard with two sisters who all loved to snuggle him up. Teli loved his bed by the screen door in the sunroom and, unless you could only tempt him with something tasty, that was his spot. I will miss you, Teli. My only regret is that I wish I had you all of your life. You brought me much comfort and joy. Your sisters and I will miss you. Run free, Teli, past the rainbow bridge, until we meet again.
