Precious was an eagerly awaited puppy. The day we brought her home, I held her in my hands, and she was the tiniest, most precious puppy I had ever seen, which was how she came to be called Precious. She became “Presh” almost immediately. She was my first “baby” and became affectionately known as a “granddog” to my parents. Precious was full of personality and attitude. She had a youthful spirit even in her later years. She loved people and people loved her, and she was known for her tricks and giving kisses. Precious, Mitzi and I spent a lot of time together over the years, and she was a wonderful companion. We often went to various parks and the beach, which Precious loved. She especially loved rolling in the sand, swimming and playing fetch…as long as she could keep the ball! She will always hold a special place in my heart and she will be dearly missed.
